who are mystery cats?
Veterans of the San Francisco music scene. Guitarist Peter Harris toured for two years as the “Jerry Guy” in Melvin Seals’ JGB, and is currently the lead guitarist for Quicksilver Gold. Keyboardist Steve Farzan played in the 70’s with the legendary Beluga Whale, and has toured with Jorma Kaukonen. The band is fronted by charismatic soul vocalist Marvin Hollins, and rounded out by Tom McManus (Promised Land) on bass and Jay Young (The Webs) on drums. The talented saxophone and vocalist Armond Hammer often joins the cats.
